CANYONVILLE COMMUNITY LIBRARY ANNOUNCES ANNUAL BOOK SALE
August 24 – August 27th, 2023 At Pioneer Days in Canyonville

Canyonville, Oregon – Canyonville City Friends of the Library announced they will hold their annual book sale at Pioneer Park in Canyonville during Pioneer Days August 24th – August 27th.

Thanks to the generous donations received throughout the year, the Canyonville Library is delighted to offer a vast selection of books for sale, at affordable prices. The collection features a diverse range of genres, including fiction, nonfiction, and children’s literature, available in both hardcover and paperback formats. We encourage people to shop early and to keep checking back as the inventory is regularly updated with new arrivals. Additionally, there will be craft activities available for children and complimentary book giveaways.

Back in August 2017, the Canyonville City Friends of the Library (FOL) was incorporated as a non-profit 501(c)3 organization following the closure of the Douglas County Library System and the discontinuation of funding. The proceeds from the annual book sale serve as a crucial source of support for their general operating expenses and special programming, which significantly enrich the Canyonville community and the surrounding area.
